August 15, 1969 the first day of Woodstock! Happy 43rd Birthday, Woodstock!
I love the song Woodstock written Joni Mitchell. Crosby Stills Nash & Young had a huge hit with this song with their flawless harmonies! I totally forgot about it until about a year ago when a friend of mine played Eva Cassidy’s version and I remembered how much I liked it. Now it’s in my set list and I play it almost every gig with the Skip Brevis Bnd.
Claudia and I were heading out to the country tonight to get back to nature for a couple of days. Well, it’s not like we were going to camp out or anything. I don’t camp. But I would’ve looked out the car window at nature and would have slept late tomorrow through all those damn crickets.
Anyway, change of plans.
Our cat Maria isn’t doing so well. She’s old. She’s peeing everywhere. She’s deaf and is having lots of problems. So as good pet parents we are going to stay home and watch her pee everywhere. And make sure she’s o.k.
I have to run out right now to get my powerball ticket. It’s over 300 million and I’m feeling lucky.
So… if you don’t hear from me again you’ll know why!
