Like A Rolling Stone / You Can’t Always Get What You Want

On April 11, 1961 Bob Dylan made his NYC debut at Gerde’s Folk City.

A few years ago I had this idea to do Like A Rolling Stone as a rap remake.  I found an amazing female singer to do the chorus and I auditioned some rappers to remake the verses.

I can’t for the life of me remember why I didn’t finish that project. I guess it was my ADD or maybe I moved on to the next thing.  Whatever.  But when Dylan’s name popped up today I figured I’d do this tune. Then, as I sang the last line of the song, I figured I might as well go into a Stones song.  Get it?  Stone/Stones?

Like a rolling stone…
